The KAEGE RETRO® was born from the vision of combining the beauty of an F model with the modern air-cooled technology of a 993 – and with it, a brand of its own, with each unique model leaving our factory in Stetten in the Palatinate region. In hand-picked quantities, of course. All our vehicles come with the following exclusive features across all models: KAEGE RETRO® LED headlights, radio navigation including a retro-style hands-free phone system, Recaro seats, Fuchs-design rims, KW suspension, and much more.

A lightweight beauty
By deliberately using carbon parts we did not only add a modern touch to this nostalgic car concept but also were able to reduce the RETRO’s overall weight in comparision with the original 993 by more than 150 kilograms. Little bodywork modifications that will be positively reflected in the car’s driving characteristics and a reduced fuel consumption.

Luftgekühlt
Im KAEGE RETRO® COUPÉ arbeitet eine komplett revidierte Maschine aus dem 993 – und damit die beste luftgekühlte Serientechnik, die im Schwäbischen jemals verbaut wurde. Fein zerlegt, geprüft, feingewuchtet und neu zusammengesetzt nimmt sich das Aggregat äußerst kultiviert, laufruhig und standfest aus. Der Motor ist wartungsarm und OBD-fähig.
Konsequent KW
Beim KAEGE RETRO® COUPÉ verbauen wir die bewährten und für uns exklusiv abgestimmten KW-Fahrwerke. Komfort, Dämpfungsverhalten und Sportlichkeit sind bei den Fahrwerken dieses Herstellers unübertroffen.
Ganz der 993
Wie beim Sechszylinder-Aggregat haben wir auch beim Sechsganggetriebe des 993 wenig verändert. Wenngleich überholt und auf Herz und Zahnkranz geprüft: Manche Dinge sind eben gut wie sie sind.
Wertanlage
Nämliches gilt für die Bremsanlage. Sie entstammt generalüberholt dem 993 und hat von ihrem Wert für ein so sportliches wie sicheres Fahrerlebnis nichts eingebüßt.
Sichere Leuchtkraft
Eine Frage der Sicherheit: Bei Frontscheinwerfern liegt die „gute alte Zeit“ besonders weit zurück. Deshalb setzen wir im KAEGE RETRO® auf unsere LED-Scheinwerfer aus Eigenproduktion, die sich perfekt ins Design einfügen und ihrem Vorgänger in Sparsamkeit, Lichtstärke und Haltbarkeit um Jahrzehnte voraus sind.
Airbags, für alle Fälle
Zu Zeiten des F-Modells noch Zukunftsmusik, nun zu Recht unbestrittener Sicherheitsstandard. Authentizität darf nicht auf Kosten der Sicherheit gehen – daher ist der KAEGE RETRO® natürlich mit Airbags ausgestattet. Sie werden ihn hoffentlich weder merken noch benötigen.
Kühlen Kopfes auf Zeitreise
Über die Segnungen der Neuzeit waren wir beim 993 besonders froh: Anders als das F-Modell verfügt er serienmäßig über eine Klimaanlage. Komplett überholt sorgt sie nun im RETRO – zusammen mit dem optionalen Schiebedach – für Begeisterung und stets optimale Temperatur.
Höhenlift
Bei allen KAEGE RETRO® Modellen verbauen wir die bewährten und für uns exklusiv abgestimmten KW-Fahrwerke. Ein manuell bedienbarer Höhenlift für den Frontanhub ermöglicht mehr Komfort und Sicherheit bei unebenen Gelände.

Color
In the end, it's up to you to decide which color your Retro will shine in. As purists, however, we naturally advise modern paints in shades that were at some point a classic Porsche color.
Chrome package
Tank cap, oil cap, various parts such as door locks, catch rakes, tank strap chromed in retro style. Hinges of the front and rear hood made of highly polished aluminum in retro style.
Rim design
Here – as with many other features - we are open to your wishes. On the COUPÈ we use a three-piece wheel in the classic Fuchs design as standard.
Performance upgrade
An engine upgrade from 3.6 l with 286 hp (standard) to 3.8 l with 300 hp is possible for the KAEGE RETRO® COUPÉ.

The RETRO LED headlights from our own production blend flawlessly into the visual look. Choose between chrome, carbon or black housing.
Sport package exterior
