The KAEGE RETRO® was born from the vision of combining the beauty of an F model with the modern air-cooled technology of a 993 – and with it, a brand of its own, with each unique model leaving our factory in Stetten in the Palatinate region. In hand-picked quantities, of course. All our vehicles come with the following exclusive features across all models: KAEGE RETRO® LED headlights, radio navigation including a retro-style hands-free phone system, Recaro seats, Fuchs-design rims, KW suspension, and much more.

Nostalgia is in the details
Beyond the grace of the KAEGE RETRO® TURBO, we put our heart and soul into the details: Chrome trim, bumpers, lights, and fuel and oil filler caps provide nostalgic perfection - even when you look very closely. The entire rear design, including the rear spoiler (ducktail), bumpers and taillights, is an in-house production.
A lightweight beauty
By using carbon components, we have not only added modern components to the authentic effect, but also achieved a weight saving of over 150 kilograms compared with the original 993 Turbo. Contemporary lightweight construction that is highly noticeable in vehicle handling and consumption.
Innovative luminosity
With our BI-LED headlights for classic Porsche models, we have brought the latest LED technology to a perfect nostalgic look. Uncompromisingly authentic - but genuinely innovative.
Sound and performance
The custom exhaust system is one of the selected things where we decided to redesign and against the original. The sound, appearance and performance characteristics prove us right.
Rim design
No compromises in appearance, but as modern, safe and powerful as possible. This also applies to tires and rims. Here - as with many other features - we are open to your wishes. On the TURBO, we use a three-piece wheel in a classic design in the size 18 inches as standard.
Timeless functional
Be impressed by the interior design possibilities of the KAEGE RETRO®, which can of course be accentuated and manufactured according to individual preferences. From the door panels to the center console, it embraces the flair of the seventies to perfection.
Cockpit for time travel
In the area around the steering wheel, every movement of the KAEGE RETRO® becomes a sensual experience: high-quality workmanship, visual accents and haptic refinements turn every kilometer into a journey of pleasure: A leather steering wheel that flatters your hand, classically interpreted gauges, high-end radio navigation system in vintage look and a dashboard for a consistent interior design. With airbag, of course.
Luggage compartment with ambience
Good style continues under the hood of the KAEGE RETRO®: The trunk is also designed in a high-quality and refined way according to your wishes. As with the classic, it offers space for light luggage. Always with you: enthusiasm.
Air-cooled powerhouse
The KAEGE RETRO® TURBO uses a revised version of the 993 Turbo engine – with the best air-cooled series technology ever installed in Swabia. The engine was dismantled, tested, balanced, and reassembled, resulting in a refined, smooth-running, and stable unit. The series performance has been discreetly increased to 450 hp, or 510 hp on request. The engine is very low-maintenance and OBD-compatible.
Consistent KW
It is a matter of honor that we also install the proven and for us exclusively tuned KW suspensions in the KAEGE RETRO® TURBO. Comfort, damping behavior and sportiness are unsurpassed with the suspensions of this manufacturer.
Value investment
The same applies to the brake system. It has been reconditioned from the 993 Turbo and has lost none of its value for a sporty and safe driving experience.
Quite the 993
As with the six-cylinder unit, we made few changes to the 993 Turbo's six-speed transmission. Although it has been overhauled and tested for heart and sprocket: Some things are just good as they are.
Innovative luminosity
A question of safety: When it comes to headlights, the "good old days" seem to be much longer ago than with other components. For us reason enough in the KAEGE RETRO® to sell our LED headlights from own production. They fit flawlessly into the optical look, but are indeed decades ahead of their predecessor in terms of economy, luminous intensity and durability.
Recaro, logically
Ergonomically perfect, ultimately comfortable and safe: It's only logical that the RETRO also uses the best seats available on the market. No matter which design you choose - it's worth trying it out!
Just in case
In the days of the F-model still a dream of the future, now rightly an undisputed safety standard. Authenticity must not come at the expense of safety - which is why the KAEGE RETRO® is naturally equipped with airbags. Hopefully, you will neither notice nor need it.
Cool head on a journey through time
We were particularly pleased with some of the blessings of the modern age in the 993: In contrast to the F model, it already had air conditioning as standard. In the RETRO, it has been completely overhauled and, in addition to the electric sunroof, ensures that every drive is not only a pleasure, but also the perfect temperature.
Height lift
All KAEGE RETRO® models are equipped with tried-and-tested KW suspension systems, which have been exclusively tailored to our requirements. A manually operated height lift for the front lift provides greater comfort and safety on uneven terrain.
There’s music in it
The sound system of the KAEGE RETRO® TURBO convinces by its unique clear sound. It is exclusively manufactured for us - of course including power amplifier and crossover.

Colors
In the end, it's up to you to decide which color your Retro will shine in. As purists, however, we naturally advise modern paints in shades that were at some point a classic Porsche color.
Chrome package
Tank cap, oil cap, various parts such as door locks, catch rakes, tank strap chromed in retro style. Hinges of the front and rear hood made of highly polished aluminum in retro style.

Here – as with many other features - we are open to your wishes. On the TARGA, we use a three-piece wheel in the classic Fuchs design as standard.
Performance upgrade
The factory power increase II to 450 hp from 3.6 l is standard on the KAEGE RETRO® TURBO and can be increased to 510 hp on request.
